Saint John Paul II Academy

This new campus will be the permanent home for 900 staff and students in a developing neighbourhood in South Surrey.  Located on a 10 acre site this high school will feature an array of amenities for leaning in the Catholic intellectual tradition. A U-shaped building form frames a central south facing courtyard and organizes the functions of the school into distinct wings.  The heart of the school is the student commons which is a two storey atrium space filled with natural light and an exposed glulaminated wood structure. This commons spills out onto the central courtyard and adjacent sports field.  The chapel is strategically located over the front entry giving it a place of prominence and importance within the school.
